The use of additives in your Cummins product will not affect any warranty coverages.

 

However, if a failure occurs and the root cause of the failure is determined to be related to or caused by an additive (the additive caused the failure) the failure would not be covered under the Cummins product warranty.

 

Note: Cummins and other engine manufacturers may express concerns about fuel additives. Use of them DOES NOT void warranties. According to our engineers, most concerns arise directly from the alcohol content of most fuel additives.
